Kathy's feet of clay since she doesn't like her photo taken
Kathy from The Junk Drawer and Jenn from Of Cabbages and Kings are visiting The Wife (of Dispatches from the Northern Outpost) and me this weekend...and my sister of Boondock Ramblings, who also came over for what Jenn called a "veritable Who's-Who Bloggerpalooza!"
I would like to share photos of their visit, but Kathy has "a thing" about her photo being taken. At first, it was that the photos had to be pre-approved before even being published, then it was her hair was too frizzy because of the weather, then...well, it just goes on and on. You know, women (rolling my eyes).
Finally she allowed me to take photos of her feet, although she did say:
You be the judge. What do you think?
Here, Kathy (left) and Jenn (right) sit in our living room:

Kathy has an ice cream cone at The Frog Hut, with Jenn holding the cone, a twist with sprinkles:

Kathy visits the fire station where my wife is a volunteer firefighter and EMT:

She wraps her legs around the pole at the fire station, one of her fantasies, I guess (yes, rolling my eyes again):

Kathy visits the local bookstore:

So are her feet too big? Let me know your opinion in the comments.

It's nice to see that Kathy and her feet made it all, what was it 180 miles? I know she was worried. It is strictly forbidden to take someones picture when they are having a bad hair day. I hope you guys are having a good time!

WHOA!! Those are some HUUUGE feet! (Sorry Kathy ;) )

That's not nice. It's funny, but not nice. :)
Love the shoes and the feet are perfectly proportionate to the size of her, ummm, hair. :)
Hope you are enjoying your Bloggerpalooza!

da feetz is nice! and they look like they're having a good time. allsome.
You know what they say about women with big feet, right?
Recent blog post: Patience. Try getting some.
I think Kathy's feets look just the right size. But I think the ice cream cone might be a little too small.
Recent blog post: Sunday Comics with Daisy!
I think her feet are lovely. As was she, so she had nothing to worry about.

It was a good time had by all, despite the rain yesterday here. As my sister said, it was just nice to see they were "real people" and when we meet them, it wasn't two scary guys named Bob and Bill using pseudonyms.
It's hard to tell from these photos, but the shoes were smiling.
Ummmmm, no, but should I ask? :)
She did get a small cone, I believe. You're right it was too small.
Personally I like the glowing cone. It has an aura around it, like it's holy or something.
Wellllll, they're probably at least a size 10, right? That's pretty darn big...But you know what they say about big feet, right? Oh wait, we're talking about a female here...
No, her feet are precious. Love the shoes/boots. Why do mine all look like crap, while Kathy's look brand new!?

I think Kathy's feet look JUST RIGHT. I'm so glad Kathy's feet dragged along the rest of her to pay you all a visit. It sounds like you had a great time.

For the record, they're a size 9, which is like gigantor for a woman's shoe, don't you think? What bothers me now, and you knew something would bother me, is that I thought Bryan was only posting pictures of my FEET. Had I known he was going to post my entire lower body, I would have broken his camera and replaced it later. Thanks, dude!

You're welcome, ma'am. :)
We did have a great time with both Kathy and Jenn. Next time, we'll have to get you down to visit too. :)
They look like a size 5 - 5.5 (UK) to me - not big at all! I like the feet photo idea for me too ;O) Looked like you all had fun!

How fun - love the idea of photos of feet only. What a different perspective. :) And I know that I also do not like my photo taken, so totally understand.
I was over at Kathy's reading her post about meeting blogger and had to come over to see her feet. Bwahahahahaha. I do have a question though...How do we know they are Kathy's feet?
Have a terrific day. :)

The feet look fine to me. The boots are lovely. Of course, I typically am striding around in size 9 Timberlands, so perhaps my perspective isn't the right one.
I had a friend from Liverpool who was very self-conscious about people looking at her feet. She'd get all giggly and try to hide. Oddest thing in the world, especially since at the time she was studying at a London Drama school...
Recent blog post: You have no standards
Holy cow, I can't believe you let those huge stompers into your house! Did she have to turn them sideways to fit through the door? Or did you keep a shoe horn nearby so she could get her feet from room to room?
Also? She didn't really let you take pictures of her feet. She let you take pictures of her SHOES. Coward.
;)
Also, I'm coveting your comment template. I'm still waiting for Haloscan to convert me to JS-Kit, but there seems to be a little issue, so I'm still stuck with the old antiquated thing. Oh well, beggars can't be choosers, I guess.

yep... those are feet alright.
I agree with Daisy - that ice cream cone should be bigger.
Recent blog post: I Am Being SUCH a good girl
Her feet are absolutely lovely. After all, black is such a slimming colour! But I concur with Daisy: ice cream cone too small.
Recent blog post: Friday Cat Blogging
Well, I don't know that her feet are too big, but they do look like they had a good time, consdiering they had no head attached.
